"I’ll admit when I first met Lauren I couldn’t see her being able to handle my ADHD 6 year old son or my ADD daughter! My kids can be challenging but to my delight, she knows exactly how to get them to do what she needs them to do. She breaks things down to their age level and keeps them engaged. They love her and will bend over backwards to please her and make her happy. Lauren has a true gift of music and a huge love of children. She’s always in a positive, upbeat mood and makes them laugh. "Our family has used music and specifically Piano lessons to help my son overcome the hard diagnosis of, Significant Developmental Delay with Language and Cognitive Impairment.
My son Milo, was diagnosed at age 4 even though there were less specific diagnosis before that. He was put into Special Education classes for kindergarten. Our family started helping him every way we could at home, before public school began though. The first thing we did was piano lessons. His brain needed help in so many ways. He even had fine motor skill issues with his fingers. Piano lessons challenged him to learn to think in all the ways he had challenges.
He is now in First Grade and scores in the 85th percentile, with standardized testing. No more Special Education class. He is a new person. I am a Mom that has watched her son overcome major struggle. I was afraid he would have these challenges for a long time. I’m completely confident that Milo is thriving in a large part, is due to his Amazing Piano Lessons! Often when I explain this to people it often moves me to tears. It’s hard to watch your baby suffer in any way.
I would highly recommend Miss. Lauren’s Piano Lessons to any child but especially to those who may seem harder to reach. This gift of music can bring so much higher quality of life to any kid. Miss Lauren shows so much care and love for all her students. We went to our first piano recital over winter holidays. Seeing her whole group of students was enlightening. They are a different breed of kid. They all seem to learn great discipline and respect from this practice.Miss Lauren also shows her strength and patience in dealing with the potentially more moody and high maintenance children like my youngest kid. He is 4 ears old right now and very Sassy. She uses all her love and understanding with him while also teaching him structure. This is not an easy task with my youngest.

I was thrilled when my seven year old daughter expressed an interest in taking piano lessons, but with my busy schedule, I wasn't sure how we could make it work (and we didn't even have a piano!).
